"BIG" MIKE'S
Home & Barn Improvements, Since 1976 |
Mike Hanson
graduated from high school in 1974. He learned the trade by
working for a few siding and window companies. When he was
20, he started his own home improvement business and never
looked back. Now 29 years later Mike continues to serve
Waukesha and Jefferson counties providing expert
installation of Siding, Trim, Windows and Doors. For the
past 7 years he has been installing steel roofing and siding
panels on Barns and other buildings. Since he specializes in
Home and Barn improvements, he can offer his customers the
newest and best products available. "We do so much Barn
steel work that we now buy direct from the manufacturer."
We go by the motto, "The sweet sensation of a low price is
soon lost through the bitterness of poor quality!!" Customer
satisfaction is the most important thing in any business.
Mike feels that the job isn't done until the customer and he
are BOTH satisfied with the workmanship. "We go the extra
mile to be sure the customer is 110% satisfied."
In the peak season, "BIG" MIKE has numerous crews on the
work sites while he does the estimating, ordering,
inspection and scheduling. "I like to stay on top of things,
so nothing gets missed." In addition to thousands of
homeowners, Mike’s clients include: Olympia Resort & Spa,
Culvers, Lapham Peak State Park, Wisconsin D.N.R., Target
Distribution Center, St. Colleta of Jefferson Dousman Fire
Department training house, and the town halls of Ottawa,
Summit and Wales.

| "BIG” MIKE'S
is now a family business. Over the past 7 years his sons
Mike Jr. and Matt have teamed up with dad to keep the
business going. In summer, his youngest son Max joins his
brothers on the job. "Being self-employed over the past 29
years has been challenging at times, but some how you get
through it." When the boys were school-aged, Mike made the
time to coach soccer and baseball and be involved with his
sons. "That's probably why they do work for me today!"
