CEMENT BOARD SIDING
PULP FIBERS, SAND, PORTLAND CEMENT AND CLAY
make up the mixture to create the slurry to make this siding. It is put into a forming machine to create the siding panels.
The wood texture is then pressed onto the panel and it goes to a pre-curing chamber. The panel is then sealed with a fiber tech sealing system that protects the panel from moisture penetration,
bonds to the paint and reduces surface chalking.
The panels can be pre-finished with 12 colors and 6 stains ready to install.
After installing the panels with an 1/8th gap the butt edges are caulked with a 100% paintable acrylic caulk .
The panels also come primed and can be painted with an acrylic latex paint.
The siding is attached to the house with a air nailer using galvanized nails.
The siding is available in 12 foot lengths and widths of 5 1/4" up to 9 1/2" . There is an overlap of 1 1/4" over the previous piece.
All the corners, window trim, soffit and fascia are available in the same material.
The product will not de-laminate, crack, blister or rot and has a 25 year warranty that covers labor and material.
The siding weighs 230# per 100 sq. foot compared to steel at 90# per sq. foot.
